...Twit Twoo.. look at you!
You look stunning Trudi!

I've been to the same 'club' as you the past few weeks.. messing around with the same 4-6lbs.. up one week, down the next - getting totally ticked off with it all and having a mega pig out (like that helps.. NOT!) I must admit that going to the gym and doing some weights and cardio exercises has certainly helped with the general tone, so although the weight has been messing around I have still managed to lose inches!
Good to hear from you again.. stick with it!

DeniseSneezenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4387632472960898617.post-66111228823186686922009-07-06T09:46:39.027+01:002009-07-06T09:46:39.027+01:00Aw thanks big_mummy :o)Aw thanks big_mummy :o)Trudihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02328504061948883073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4387632472960898617.post-64696658343175826652009-07-06T09:32:35.814+01:002009-07-06T09:32:35.814+01:00well i think you looked fab!! well done, looking f...well i think you looked fab!! well done, looking forward to you blogging properly again.big_mummyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17721843261953144827noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4387632472960898617.post-14056750128002171742009-05-18T10:11:00.000+01:002009-05-18T10:11:00.000+01:00hey Trudi
a good week for you then - well done on...hey Trudi

a good week for you then - well done on taking the fruit to the BBQ! I'm going to one on Saturday so may take a leaf out of your book.

one of my favourite meals is a small amount of pasta with a tomato based sauce cooked with a mountain of veg. peppers, onions, mushrooms. it can all add up, and it's filling and tasty too.

I am wary of smoothies as they can be quite high in calories as you need such a lot of fruit to make a decent amount! if you're happy with a small one though, then they are great.

as for exercise - the best way of burning calories for me is running. I love love love it. I'm more of a plodder than a 'runner' but it's still the best form of calorie burning per hour that I've found.

I have read loads though that working out with weights is good for burning calories AFTER you've finished working out - not proven by me as I take my HRM off as soon as I get changed!

have a great week xAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16082284301489996802noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4387632472960898617.post-87323253688845954222009-05-01T09:00:00.000+01:002009-05-01T09:00:00.000+01:00Hi Mandy,

Interesting what you say about Orlistat and Alli, seems to be a lot in the press at the moment about them both.

Losing weight is such a personal journey that I don't think you should discount the use of drugs if they can help, in some circumstances. My understanding of orlistat is not that it is a 'magic pill', more that it supports what the patient is trying to do in eating a low fat diet and increasing their exercise.

Taking orlistat alone without a concerted effort to lose weight will only result in disappointment, as I'm sure many who rushed to buy Alli will find.

I love WLR and do feel that it is definately the way forward, but if we're honest - we all know how to lose weight, it's just so darn difficult to do!!Mandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13499458172766141668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4387632472960898617.post-45310293905490292422009-04-28T12:43:00.000+01:002009-04-28T12:43:00.000+01:00Thanks Kelvin, I do try to get my Weight Loss Reso...Thanks Kelvin, I do try to get my Weight Loss Resources Nutrition Report to read pretty much what you have said. About 50-55% carbohydrates, 30-35% protein, and the rest can be fat. Something close to this is healthy. Just remember, carbs are your biggest source of energy; they are not all bad. The carbs that are unhealthy are the ones that come from processed foods and simple sugars. Try to eat more whole wheat grain foods, legumes, and live food such as fresh fruits and vegetables. http://www.phentermine-effects.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4387632472960898617.post-46054296694920286642009-04-27T08:58:00.000+01:002009-04-27T08:58:00.000+01:00I absolutely agree with you. I usually put it down to hormones!!

Here's to a better week, keep up the ironing and the walking.. I can lend you our German Shepherd if you want? She has boundless energy and could walk for miles!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
